Abstract
Zinc Sulphate also known as white vitriol is an inorganic compound that occurs in anhydrous, monohydrate, hexahydrate and heptahydrate forms.

 

Use/Application
Zinc Sulphate is used as a coagulant in the production of rayon. It is also used to supply zinc in animal feeds, fertilizers and agricultural sprays, to control moss growth on roofs, as an electrolyte for zinc plating, as a mordant in dyeing, as a preservative for skins and leather and in medicine as an astringent and emetic.

Shelf life, Storage and Packing

It should be stored in a segregated area in a cool and ventilated place away from combustible materials. Keep in a tightly closed container, sealed until ready for use. It is packed in 25kg or 50kg HDPE bags or drums as required.
