Magnesium phosphate is an ionic compound composed of the magnesium cation (Mg2+) and phosphate anion (PO43-). This is a salt with a hydrated crystalline structure. Being hydrated, the water of crystallization is found in the crystal structure of magnesium phosphate. It is found in amorphous forms also. The chemical formula of magnesium phosphate is Mg3(PO4)2.
Use/Application
It is used as a stabilizer and pH control agent. It is also used as an anti-caking agent. It is widely used in chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Shelf life, Storage and Packing
It should be stored in a segregated area in a cool and ventilated place away from combustible materials. Keep in a tightly closed container, sealed until ready for use. It is packed in 25kg or 50kg HDPE bags or drums as required.
