Cellulose Acetate Phthalate USP
Abstract:
Cellulose acetate (C6H7O2(OH)3), basically a chain of glucose molecules, is a heavily useful industrial compound that is used in many important products used worldwidely everyday. It is an acetate ester also known as Cellon or Rhodoid or Zyl or Zylonite. It appears as a white free flowing powder, Soluble in dioxane and in dimethylformamide; insoluble in alcohol and in water.

Shelf life, Storage and Packing
It should be stored in a segregated area in a cool and ventilated place away from combustible materials. Keep in a tightly closed container, sealed until ready for use. It is packed in 25kg or 50kg HDPE bags or drums as required.
