Abstract
Ammonium Heptamolybdate is the inorganic compound whose chemical formula is (NH4)6Mo7O24, normally encountered as the tetrahydrate. It is a colorless solid, often referred to as ammonium paramolybdate or simply as ammonium molybdate

 

Use/Application
It can be used in the detection of recreational drugs as a component of the froehde reagent. Also used as a dietary supplement.

Shelf life, Storage and Packing

It should be stored in a segregated area in a cool and ventilated place away from combustible materials. Keep in a tightly closed container, sealed until ready for use. It is packed in 25kg or 50kg HDPE bags or drums as required.
