Activated Charcoal EP

Abstract
Activated charcoal, also known as activated carbon. It is an organic compound. It occurs as a black light powder, free from grittiness.

Use/Application
Activated carbon is used substrate for the application of various chemicals to improve the adsorptive capacity for some inorganic (and problematic organic) compounds. It is also used in water purification, air filters in respirators, & production of hydrogen chloride . One major industrial application involves use of activated carbon in metal finishing for purification of electroplating solutions. It is widely used in Pharmaceutical and Chemical Industries.
